Our Story
We received the news of Abel’s lethal diagnosis at our 20-week scan in March of 2022.
Our decision to carry to term was an obvious one to make — we knew God had a special plan for our daughter and we prayed every day for a miracle.
On August 15th, 2022, Abel Grace was born at 10:39pm weighing 9lbs and 7.7oz.
Though doctors originally told us she would only live for a few hours, Abel Grace was with us for 38 hours and 12 minutes.
They were the best 38 hours and 12 minutes of our entire lives.
Abel’s fighting spirit was so clear, and we are beyond proud of her.
Paying it Forward
A donation to Abel Speaks in Abel’s honor would mean the world to us because we truly believe that no one is ever truly gone until you stop remembering them.
Our goal is to keep Abel’s name alive and live with the fighting spirit and love she showed us.
Abel Speaks has supported us, and countless families walking down this path.
It was truly a God moment when someone sent us a link to their site, that days before Abel was born… an organization supporting families like us, and with a shared name!
