Our Story
Eli James is our firstborn son.
We found out at 20 weeks that he had cysts on his kidneys. The cysts made it difficult for him to make amniotic fluid and hard for his lungs to develop.
We also found out that the left side of his heart was underdeveloped and would have a difficult time pumping blood throughout his body.
The doctors made it clear that his life would be short.
He was born at 37 weeks and gave us the sweetest six hours of snuggles before going to be with the Lord.

If Eli were still here, we would be buying presents to celebrate his birthday.
Abel Speaks has done an incredible job helping us honor Eli in his life and death.
