Our Story
Hart is our beautiful fourth baby and little sister to Collette, Beckett and Baker. At our 19 week anatomy scan we were devastated to find out that our baby had a life-limiting diagnosis: Bilateral Renal Agenesis, meaning she had no kidneys, no bladder, and therefore no amniotic fluid.
We knew at that moment that there was no other choice than to carry and love our precious baby for as long as we could. While we didn’t know the “why” behind how God was writing our story, we were confident that He created Hart on purpose, for a purpose, and we praised Him for every single day that we got with our little girl.
October 10, 2023 will forever be the most wonderful and most painful day of our lives. Hart was born at 36 weeks, crying and squeaking and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We were blessed with just over two perfect hours with our girl before she peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus. Every detail of Hart’s story points to the goodness and kindness of our God. We miss her so much but continue to praise our Savior for her beautiful and precious life. We are confident that Hart is fully whole in the presence of our Lord, and that we will be together again one day. Praise God for the gift of eternity through His salvation.

We have been blessed by family and friends who have showered us with love – prayer (so much prayer), phone calls and texts, cards, beautiful keepsakes, meals and more.
