Hart Anderson Speaks

At our 19 week anatomy scan we discovered that Hart had no kidneys, no bladder, and therefore no amniotic fluid – a diagnosis of Bilateral Renal Agenesis. Axel and I knew that our only option was to put our trust in the Lord and faithfully walk this road that He placed us on. We chose to love our daughter fiercely and carry her for as long as we were able to.

The doctors believed that there was a very slim chance that Hart would make it to term, much less survive labor and delivery.

Our precious Hart made it to 36 weeks and was born on October 10, 2023. She came quickly – crying and squeaking and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We were blessed with two perfect hours with our girl before she entered into the arms of Jesus. Every detail of Hart’s story points to the goodness and kindness of our God. We miss her so much but continue to praise God for her beautiful and precious life.

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

Abel Speaks gave us the beautiful gift of community. We have connected with other families who have walked these painful roads and have seen the faithfulness of God. They have provided support in countless ways and have gifted us beautiful items that help keep Hart’s name and her story alive. We want to support Abel Speaks as they support other families who have chosen to carry a child with a life limiting diagnosis.

By faith, Hart still speaks!
