Daniel Crawford - Abel Speaks - Trisomy 13 and Life Limiting Diagnosis Counseling

Daniel joined the Teach For America corps upon graduation from A&M, then met his wife Kelly in 2012 working together in Haiti. Four years later, they welcomed Abel Paul into the world, “and through faith, though he is dead, Abel still speaks” (Heb 11:4). Their younger two Mayfield and Deacon were BOTH born on Jan 22, sharing a birthday with their big brother Abel. Daniel spent five years leading the College Ministry at Watermark Church before rolling onto Abel Speaks full time in October 2019.

DIRECTOR OF VISION & STRATEGY

Kelly is an Oklahoma Sooner born-and-bred and degreed in Social Work and Human Resource. Wife to Daniel, she has humbly embraced her long-term transition to the Lone Star State, and loves her community in Dallas. With nonprofit leadership experience domestically and abroad, Kelly had no idea how these experiences would shape and prepare her both personally & professionally for this mission at hand. Abel’s mama couldn’t be more honored to steward her son’s life and legacy while raising his little siblings, Mayfield James and Deacon Abel.

Businessman and rancher, Al never sits idle. He manages a varied portfolio of small businesses including real estate, oil & gas, and beef cattle. However, his most prized venture was raising Becca and Sarah-Hope alongside his college sweetheart and bride, Carol. Together, they are enjoying their empty nest and new opportunities to serve others in their community.

Brent Billman - Abel Speaks - Trisomy 13 and Life Limiting Diagnosis Counseling

Brett graduated from Baylor in 2009 with a Master’s in Accounting and then married his high school sweetheart in 2010. After two years as a CPA, Brett went to work for a hedge fund before God ultimately moved him to become the Director of Finance (or as he says, “FUN-ance”) at Watermark Church. Brett & Chrisey have 3 little ones: Landry, Colson, and Ellie.

Lori Romberg McGregor - Abel Speaks - Trisomy 13 and Life Limiting Diagnosis Counseling

Lori Romberg McGregor

Lori has been a practicing OB/GYN with Women’s Health Alliance for 13 years and plugged in at Watermark Church for over a decade. She grew up in Southern California and graduated from UCSD before moving to Dallas for medical school at UT Southwestern. Lori and her husband Kirk have been married for 6 years and adore their ‘blended’ famliy: Sarah & Matthew (twins), Alex, and Abby.

Carson Smith - Abel Speaks - Trisomy 13 and Life Limiting Diagnosis Counseling

Carson Smith

Carson is the Chairman of our Board. Raised in Arlington, Carson ran track at Texas A&M and studied Sport Management before completing his MBA at Winthrop. He currently serves as the Area Director for Booster Enterprises in Dallas and is passionate about developing intentional leaders. Carson enjoys dating his wife Kelsey, whom he met at Kanakuk Kamps and married in 2011. They now have two boys, Cade and Wyatt.

Cori Todd - Abel Speaks - Trisomy 13 and Life Limiting Diagnosis Counseling

Cori Todd

Cori is a graduate of Kansas University (Rock Chalk!) with degrees in Biology and Public Health. She ran Track & Cross Country, which led to her meeting and later marrying Patrick Todd. They have one daughter named Charlotte and another baby on the way! Cori is one of the most compassionate people you’d ever know and has a huge heart for the sanctity every of human life.

Jennifer Abohosh - Abel Speaks - Trisomy 13 and Life Limiting Diagnosis Counseling

Jennifer Abohosh

Jen graduated from Pepperdine University in 2013. After 5 years consulting non-profits, she now serves as the Chief Marketing Officer for Denison Ministries. With experience crafting and executing fundraising, marketing and growth plans for over 100 organizations worldwide, Jen now spends her days focusing on ways to get the Gospel to the world, faster.
